Stabilised sand is sand pre-blended with a measured amount of cement, giving a firm, semi-bound bed that resists wash-out and movement. It is ideal for pipe bedding and haunching, trench backfill, paver and driveway bedding, and under-slab levelling.
Common calls are 8:1 (about 12% cement, stronger – driveways and load-bearing bedding) and 14:1 (about 7%, leaner – pipe bedding and fill). On engineered or council jobs we blend to your specified ratio. Blended at the pugmill and delivered direct across Penrith and Western Sydney, or a small yard mix for small jobs.
