Independently Tested, Year After Year
Elite USGA Sand is independently tested on an ongoing program, with results on file from 2024, 2025 and most recently April 2026. The current results show it exceeds the USGA specification: it drains at more than three times the USGA minimum even when fully compacted, with low salinity and a slightly acidic pH that turf roots prefer.

What is USGA sand?
USGA sand is a washed, precisely graded sand made to the United States Golf Association rootzone specification — a tight particle-size range that drains fast while still holding enough moisture for healthy turf. It is the standard sand for building and top dressing high-performance greens.
Where USGA sand is used
- Golf greens — as the rootzone and for regular top dressing.

Top dressing with USGA sand
Spread a thin, even layer (a few millimetres) and work it in with a level lawn or drag mat, then water. Top dressing fills low spots, smooths the surface and improves drainage over time.
